Why `POST` Tokyo?

POST-TOKYO symbolizes three changes. The decompression right after ETH Tokyo and ZuCity, when the external bustle ends and internal calm begins. A POST request to Tokyoites — get out of the city and into the countryside. And a bet on what comes after Tokyo: Japan flowing back into the inaka instead of collapsing into one exhausting megacity that hollows out everywhere else.

It is the simplest thing ZuCity offers — fun, deep nature, art, culture, and local organic Japanese food — and the surest. Once you have soaked in the onsen, danced on the mountain, and eaten at your neighbors' tables, you understand why we live here.

Who is coming?

The same crowd that fills the popup — founders, researchers, engineers, and artists, plus the builders coming up from ETH Tokyo. Anyone who finished the conference over-caffeinated and under-slept and wants to remember why they came to Japan in the first place.

Can my brand sponsor POST-TOKYO?

Yes. POST-TOKYO is a four-venue art and music festival closing ZuCity's popup month in Komoro, run with ETH Tokyo — a small, high-signal crowd of founders, researchers, engineers, and artists, plus the ETH Tokyo builders coming up the mountain. Partners get their name on the nights, the venues, and the year-round Vibe Space that carries the festival after it ends.

We're inviting artists — especially from Nagano and New York — to run popup shops and activations across the festival, and to keep selling year-round at the ZuCity Vibe Space after everyone flies home. Your work joins a local scene, not a pop-up that vanishes; what you build here keeps earning.
